Curtis DelGrosso is the founder of Be Living Proof®, a brand built on the philosophy that the impossible can become reality. His journey began in the world of BMX, where he spent countless hours pushing his limits, mastering tricks and exploring the boundaries of extreme sports.

Before pursuing construction, Curtis ran his own exterior paint and decorating business, honing craftsmanship, attention to detail and a commitment to quality. He went on to become a skilled carpenter, rigging specialist and heavy equipment operator, leading massive projects including world record sites like INTRO Cleveland.

Alongside his building career, Curtis explored music production, sharpening creativity, focus and rhythm—skills that now influence every facet of his work from coaching to performing. He began sharing his BMX expertise through one-on-one coaching, helping riders build confidence, master new skills and discover their own approach to the sport.

Life’s challenges tested him with serious injuries, prompting Curtis to rethink his path. He turned to juggling as a form of physical and creative therapy, a pursuit that eventually led to the creation of his living statue persona, The Gilded Johnson. Through this act, he mastered stillness, subtle movement and interactive performance, captivating audiences wherever he appears.

From there, Curtis expanded into circus arts and street performances, blending comedy, technical skill and audience engagement to deliver unforgettable entertainment. Today, he continues performing street shows, coaching BMX and taking on custom building projects, combining his diverse talents into the brand that is Be Living Proof®. Through his work, Curtis inspires, teaches and shares lessons in creativity, perseverance and leadership with audiences and students of all ages.
